AWC Joins Bangkok and Partners in the "Empire Tower We Run 2022" to Create a Greener Bangkok for a Better Planet and Environment

Bangkok, 28th November 2022 - The Asset World Foundation for Charity (AWFC), under Asset World Corp Public Company Limited or AWC, in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and partners organized the "Empire Tower We Run 2022", a charity run in the heart of Sathorn under the concept ‘One Run One Green’. For each runner, proceeds will support the BMA in purchasing 1 plant, with a total of 3,000 plants to enhance the green space in Bangkok. On 27th November, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, and Mrs. Wallapa Traisorat, CEO and President of AWC, presided over the start of the race at Empire Tower, AWC's flagship lifestyle mixed-use office complex.
"Empire Tower We Run 2022" is a charity run to increase awareness among Bangkokians about caring for the environment and climate change, while participants in the run encouraged to maximize resource efficiency and avoid generating waste by using only one leaf-shaped cup during the event. The event is a part of AWFC’s “Give Green CBD Synergy Power”, which has been held for nine consecutive years to promote broader social contribution participation.
The charity run is divided into three categories: a "Fun Run" of 4.2 kilometers, a "Mini Marathon" of 10.5 kilometers, and a "Half Marathon" of 21 kilometers. Proceeds from each runner in the "Empire Tower We Run 2022", after expenses, support the BMA in purchasing 1 plant per runner, with a total of 3,000 plants to enhance the green space in Bangkok, as well as to financially support the “Pun Fun” project for underprivileged children in need in Bangkok.
